KidZone Quality Mark is Polish national program promoting the best family and children-oriented companies gathering leaders in subsequent industries. The program selects, distinguishes and recommends the best products, services and solutions addressed to the family segment, in particular those which are safe, friendly and recommended for children.
Family-Friendly Hotel 2016
La Siesta Hotel has been awarded with the Family-Friendly Hotel certificate. The purpose of the Family-Friendly Hotel campaign is to promote those Polish accommodation facilities in which families with children as well as mothers-to-be can feel comfortable, relaxed and safe. It concerns both special equipment for children at different age as well as pleasant attitude towards little guests.
One of the results of the campaign consists in creating a new category for hotels in Poland: a FAMILY HOTEL, understood as a friendly place fulfilling specific standards for families with children and pregnant women. Facilities which meet the criteria of a given edition obtain special certificates valid for the period of one year. Campaign slogan: A CHILD AS HOTEL VIP exposes the needs of children so that they can feel special guests in the hotel.

This prestigious distinction is awarded to 1% of best hotels available on the TripAdvisor website basing on the marking and opinions of millions of travelers.

"Quality Certificate is the way in which the TripAdvisor website distinguishes those companies from the hotel sector which regularly receive positive opinions and high marking from their guests", said Heather Leisman, Industry Marketing Vice President at TripAdvisor. "This distinction makes it possible for travelers to find those facilities which provide highest quality services and then book rooms which they offer. TripAdvisor website is proud that it contributes to a large extent to making more sure booking decisions by the travelers".
The certificate is awarded basing on the quality, validity and number of opinions submitted to the TripAdvisor website within 12 months. In order to qualify, the companies have to reach and maintain the score in the general star ranking at the level of at least four out of five stars, minimum number of opinions required as well as be present on the website for at least 12 months.
